On Thursday, Magpies had a trip to Bristol Zoo. I won't write too much as the pictures, taken by the children, speak for themselves.
At the end of the day, it was agreed by all of the adults that the children had behaved brilliantly and we had all had an amazing day.

The celebrations started early in Magpies! We had a wonderful tea party with the rest of the school. We have talked about Prince Harry and Meghan getting married and are excited to see what happens tomorrow. ,We had such a jam packed day on Thursday! Mr Dixon, from Tewkesbury Historical Society, came to talk to us. He helped us to be time travellers, looking at how Tewkesbury has changed. In the afternoon, we walked to Tewkesbury to look at the things Mr Dixon had told us. The children showed they had listened well in the morning and, between them, spotted all of the things Mr Dixon had told us about! It has really helped us to see Tewkesbury in a different way. Some of our pictures are below; can your Magpie tell you the story behind the picture? We finished our walk with a rest in Victoria Gardens. We looked at the River and thought about the human and physical features that we could see. This will help us later in the term when we compare the River Avon and the River Amazon.
I hope now you can see why your Magpie was so exhausted when you picked them up! |
